General terms and conditions of sale

These terms govern bookings of private chauffeur transfers made with Novalia on the French Riviera.

1. Purpose and scope

These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) govern the private passenger transport services with chauffeur provided by Novalia (“the Provider”) to any person making a booking (“the Client”), whether via novaliavtcfrance.com, the online booking module, WhatsApp, e-mail or telephone.

Any booking implies full acceptance of these GTC.

2. Booking and confirmation

A booking is firm once confirmed by the Provider (by e-mail, message or via the online booking module). The Client agrees to provide accurate information: pickup location, destination, date and time, number of passengers and bags, and a flight number where applicable.

The Provider recommends booking in advance to guarantee availability, particularly during busy periods (Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Grand Prix, congresses, summer season).

3. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The price is fixed and all-inclusive: pickup, luggage, tolls and airport meet & greet. No night, weekend or traffic surcharge applies.

“From” prices are indicative and are confirmed at booking according to the route, vehicle category and any additional services (extra stop, child seat, hourly hire).

4. Payment

Payment may be made online at the time of booking (secure payment) or on board by bank card or cash, as agreed at confirmation.

Corporate account clients may benefit from centralised monthly invoicing under conditions agreed with the Provider.

5. Modification and cancellation by the Client

Any modification or cancellation request must be sent to the Provider as early as possible by WhatsApp, e-mail or telephone.

Unless special conditions are stated at booking, cancellation is free up to a reasonable time before pickup. A late cancellation or a no-show may be charged up to the full price of the ride.

6. Delays, waiting and flight tracking

For transfers from Nice Airport, the Provider tracks the Client's flight in real time and adjusts the pickup time in case of delay. Free waiting is included (60 minutes at the airport, 15 minutes in town) from the agreed time or the actual landing.

Beyond this allowance, additional waiting time may be charged at an hourly rate communicated to the Client.

7. Luggage, animals and child seats

The number and volume of bags must be stated at booking so that a suitable vehicle can be assigned. Baby seats, boosters and infant carriers are available on request.

Animals may be transported subject to prior request and the Provider's acceptance.

8. Passenger obligations

The Client agrees to respect the cleanliness and integrity of the vehicle as well as safety instructions (seat belt, appropriate behaviour). Wearing a seat belt is mandatory.

Any dangerous behaviour, use of illegal substances or deliberate damage may lead to the immediate termination of the ride, without refund, and to the invoicing of damages.

9. Liability

The Provider is bound by a best-efforts obligation. It cannot be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from force majeure or external causes (exceptional weather, road closures, strikes, inaccurate information provided by the Client).

Vehicles are covered by passenger transport insurance in accordance with applicable regulations.

10. Complaints

Any complaint regarding a service may be sent to the Provider at novaliavtcfrance@gmail.com. The Provider undertakes to respond as quickly as possible in order to find an amicable solution.

11. Personal data

Personal data provided by the Client is used solely to perform the transport service and is never passed on to third parties. In accordance with the GDPR, the Client has rights of access, rectification and deletion by writing to novaliavtcfrance@gmail.com. See also our legal notice.

12. Governing law and disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction. In accordance with regulations, consumer clients may refer to a consumer mediator.
